Activision announced during their Q4 earnings call today that Diablo III, which was initially slated for an early 2012 release, has been pushed back to 2012 Q2 (April – June). This is umpteenth delay of the game. Much like the announcement of new CoD title, this doesn’t come as a shock, but it does come as a disappointment.
No reason for the delay was given.
They also announced that either Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm or World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will be released with Diablo III in Q2.
