Battlefield 4 launched recently, and it’s been the most troubled launch in the franchise history so far, with disastrous server issues second only to SimCity (another EA game, coincidentally) earlier this year, and a plethora of bugs and glitches that slipped into the game as it was rushed, no doubt, to meet the holiday deadline and the new console launches.
One of these glitches is the infamous Headshot Glitch, which kills a player with one headshot, even if they are at full health. So, you know. Like real life. Except that’s apparently unacceptable in the game.
Anyway, DICE has promised a ‘solid fix’ to the issue, a solution that should be pushed through as soon as possible.
‘We now have a solid fix for this issue and will push it out as soon as possible. We will get back to you with an ETA on that update,’ they said, without telling us what said ETA would entail.
Oh well.
