Dirty Bomb Starts Open Beta on June 2nd

All Steam users will be able to try the team shooter for a week.

Splash Damage’s free to play team-based shooter Dirty Bomb will be going into open beta on June 2nd, allowing any and all Steam users to experience the game for seven days. Just head to Steam and download it when the open beta goes live.

You may remember Splash Damage for their work on Batman: Arkham Origins but the British developer is most renowned for its work on team-based multiplayer shooters like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Dirty Bomb feels like Team Fortress in the characterization of its mercenaries but there’s an element of difficulty and emphasis on skill above all else.

Dirty Bomb’s premise involves a post-apocalyptic London where mercenaries go to get rich quick. Teams of mercenaries will face off against each other and a wide roster of skilled killers – including heavy weapons, demolitions, medics and more – is available for play.
