Streaming services are all the rage nowadays. In fact, it’s looking more like the future is a fractured amount of streaming services until the bottom falls out. But we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves there. Today the newest major streaming service just launched, and it may be the biggest yet in the form of Disney+.
The service was one announced last year from the House of Mouse, and includes a massive amount of content right off the bat. With over 300 movies and TV shows from Disney and the now Disney owned Fox Entertainment including the likes of The Simpsons, Marvel, Pixar and more. Probably the biggest wow factor, though, is the big budget Star Wars television show The Mandalorian. Eventually, the service will include more original content from Star Wars and Marvel as well.
Disney+ launches for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox in North America and The Netherlands. It will eventually roll out to other regions between now and March 2020.
