Dreadnought, The 5v5 Spaceship Shooters, Enters Closed Beta This Week

Dreadnought, a new 5v5 spaceship shooter from Yager, the guys who brought us the excellent expectation defying Spec Ops: The Line, will be entering closed beta this week. You can ensure that you get access to the closed beta by buying either of two founder’s packs.

The cheaper of these options is the Hunter pack. The Hunter Pack is priced $9.99/ £6.99 / €9.99, and it gets you 500 in-game points for use on cosmetics, an XP boost for seven days, and an exclusive ship decal, emblem, and coating. It also gets you the medium Dreadnought hero ship the Morningstar, as well as two Fleet Recruitment Packs, which is just a fancy way of saying you get to invite two of your friends to the beta too.

You can alternatively splurge $39.99/ £27.99 / €39.99 on the Mercenary Pack, which comes with comes with five hero ships, including the Morningstar, 3,000 in-game points, exclusive decals, and a 30-day XP boost. It also comes with invitations for four friends to the closed beta.

If you would rather not spend any money, you can just register for the closed beta, though you should keep in mind that doing so does not guarantee that you will get in.
