Media Molecule’s Dreams was revealed a while back, as their next generation project, which promised to allow players complete control over the content that they would create- and the game has seemed intriguing enough that we have wanted to know more about it ever since. The trouble? Media Molecule have gone a bit quiet on it lately. And while players were willing to put up with that since they had promised a beta for the end of this year, now it seems like that beta will be pushed into 2017, too.
“It’s getting close to the end of 2016 and it’s time to let you all know that the beta trial for Dreams won’t be starting this year,” Media Molecule said in an update on their blog. “We are sorry for being a bit quiet of late and for disappointing people not being at PSX, but sometimes you have to just shut the doors, take the phone off the hook and hunker down and that’s exactly what we have been doing!”
Media Molecule go on to suggest that they are hard at work on the game, promising more information to come early in 2017- hopefully, there will be some tangible and substantial updates for all players who are eagerly awaiting to see where Media Molecule go next.
