Sony initially revealed that it would be releasing a PlayStation Plus edition of DriveClub that would include a single location with 11 tracks, 10 cars and access to all the game modes. Players would then be able to upgrade to the full experience for $49.99.
However, the company then said that you’d have access to all the content as long as you PS Plus account was active. PlayStation Europe finally provided an update to the same on Twitter and thankfully, you’ll still be able to keep the game even if your PlayStation Plus subscription ends.
“If you have #DRIVECLUB PS+ Ed & upgrade, we’ll ensure you keep full game access even if your PS Plus runs out.”
DriveClub is currently slated to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on October 7th worldwide, after being delayed from its initial November 2013 release date. What are your thoughts on it thus far? Let us know in the comments.
