One of the most criticized elements of DriveClub was its lack of difficulty options. But according to Evolution Studios’ Paul Rustchynsky this might be addressed sometime in the future. Responding to a user’s concern about the game being too hard, Paul assured that they will be making adjustments so that the game appeals to everyone.
“The plan long term is to try and cater for a wider range of skills, both experts and new comers,” he tweeted. Although this does not confirm that a difficulty option may be added in the future but the only way they can make it accessible to everyone is by simply adding a difficulty setting.
Ever since the spectacular weather update went live, the driver statistics are not being tracked. Paul confirmed that they are working on the issue and it will be fixed next year. “We are aware, we’ll aiming to have this fixed early in the new year. Don’t worry though the stats are still being tracked,” he tweeted.
He also suggested a work around for users who are unable to unlock challenge trophies. “There is a work around whilst we fix the problem, you just need to make sure you’re online in the front-end when the challenge expires,” he said on Neogaf.
