LOL. I like you. Seriously. You’re right the X is beast of a machine. The proof is there. But these games you mentioned aren’t even using the full power of the X. Compared to Pro/PS4 those 3rd party games are selling more this Japanese system as you call it. Why? Look at the install base of PS4 vs the One. nearly 73 million to what 32-35 million. Secondly, if Microsoft would have released the S or the X at the launch of this generation we may have a different conversation. Microsoft did the Sony route with the PS3 and got a big head. It blew up in there face. Not only was the PS4 slightly more graphically improved over the One 3rd party developers started moving over to them. The One went through 2 different iterations while Sony just had the Pro. Sony shouldn’t be in a hurry to release an equal to the X right now. Look at their 2018 lineup. It’s good. Microsoft has some good ones now that GoW 5 has been announced. I will get that. MS was so much worried about hardware they forgot about the software. The Pro is not a significant upgrade from the base PS4 but I have a 4K/HDR TV so it works for me. Is it checkerboard and supersampling 4K and native 1440K? Yes. If developers were smart all their games on Pro would run 1440p and 60 FPS. TheX, which I own, Supersamples and checkerboards as well. But, you knew that. The only native games I have seen are first party games. I believe Tomb Raider is native 4K but not sure. On either system not all games are running in HDR neither. So is the X powerful? Yes. But developers haven’t even used the full power of the system which is an advantage for Sony still

Jason’s struggling again. “Better results” should be a no-brainer with a year’s better tech and $100 more on the RRP to play with. You were promised “The best pixels, highest framerates, no compromises” and you got dynamic resolution, framerate drops at 30fps and base hardware textures. You were promised “so easy to enhance for” and you got patches to fix the HDR. Fact is, Xpals have to deflect and move goalposts to cover the fact they got conned yet again. It’s no wonder the Xpal panic is becoming more prevalent. 🙂

If you can’t find a more capable console then then “best pixles and highest framerates” holds true. It’s a fact.

Every one of those quotes has been proven true. If it weren’t, then you would be able to find a better example, but you can’t.

How is asking you a direct question about ‘your’ comments topic a deflection? The “less blurry” is a deflection. I straight up slapped you in the face with reality.

Comparisons and tech analysis have been rolling out from multiple sources but you conveniently ignore those. The words used to describe are not “less blurry” they’re more along the line of “superior in every way”.

You should have stayed away from this post Xrat. You got baited, hook, line, and sinker.

Not really. I can poke holes in every argument you have against Sony. Microsoft isn’t innocent. The X is falling short as well. Is it the X or the developers? Hmmm. Is it the Pro or the developers? Both systems upscale and use checker boarding on lots of games. She games are native 4K but not all of them
