Koei Tecmo had already revealed earlier that Dynasty Warriors 9 would run at 4K resolution at 30 fps on the PS4 Pro. Now as the game inches closer to its release date, they’ve revealed some specific information regarding how the game will run across different platforms.

In an interview with Wccftech, the developers clarified some questions regarding the game’s technical performance across different platforms. Firstly, they clarified that checkerboard rendering is used to achieve 4K resolution on the PS4 Pro. When asked whether there would be any differences between the PS4 Pro version and the Xbox One X version, the developer answered, “It is basically the same as the PS4 Pro, but the 4K resolution is through 1440p hardware scaling. We do not have any special differences between platforms.”

We’ll have to wait and see just how differently the game runs across these different platforms. Dynasty Warriors 9 is set to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 13.
