In reply to Norcalsteve. Sony has gone out with that they will launch PS4 before the 720 can. The problem is that Microsoft is being extremely secretive about it. I do not know which of them that is releasing first. But I dont think it will be in any longer span.

Yeah, it’s more accurate to compare the Wii U to a 360 or PS3. I mean, it’s only marginally more powerful than those two and the “true” next-gen consoles will almost certainly cost about as much as as the Wii U since they don’t have expensive yet low-quality tablet controllers eating up half their hardware production budget. I really do expect the PS4 and 720 in the $300 to $350 price range and for the Wii U to go the way of the Dreamcast… minus the coolness, because screw the Wii U that’s what.

It doesn’t matter that the Wii U has a head start or not. The Wii U could have a 5 year head start and these consoles would still catch up in sales and more importantly profit in under a year or two.
