Fallout Shelter Lands on August 13th for Android Devices

Updated version will include new characters and enemies.

Following an initial announcement of a release sometime in August, it’s now been confirmed at QuakeCon 2015 that Bethesda’s Fallout Shelter will release on August 13th for Android devices.

PC Gamer revealed that the game will be updated to include new enemies attacking one’s Vault such as Deathclaws. There will also be new characters in the form of Mr. Handy and a robot that you can either direct to fight or just circle around your base to find resources.

Fallout Shelter released on iOS shortly its announcement at E3 2015 and broke all sorts of records for revenue on Apple App Store (even unseating big-time apps like Candy Crush Saga in the process). The game itself sees the player managing their own Vault and keeping its denizens happy while trying to survive in the wasteland. Micro-transactions are supported in the form of Lunchboxes but aren’t required to fully enjoy the game.
