Yeah, looks like Xbox One uses temporal reprojection. I don't tend to like It because it just gives a lower resolution look anyway. May as well use 1600x900, but they did that to still be able to technically say it's 1080p, since the height is 1080. Globally, performance-wise, it's no different than upscaling from 1600x900p...the same amount of pixels are missing ,either way.

Completely false. I've upgraded once in 7 years, a new $300 GPU and I easily blow away PS4 visuals in my 7 years old CPU. Its a fact of life console owners have to live with. My PC was dominating PS3 when I first built it and my new GPU allows to me to crush it the PS4 even at my PCs old age.

This isn't even taking things into account like cheaper game prices, not being charged $360 over 6 years of PSN, etc. PC gaming winds up cheaper at the end of life for your platform. Then there's modding and entire genres of games that aren't possible on consoles.

lol you've OBVIOUSLY not seen far cry 4 running on a decent pc rig then.

I get better visual quality than the ps4 at a constant 60fps 1080p native. (i've always got an fps counter running in the corner of screen)

(and yes i have seen FC4 running on the ps4, sure it looks good enough but nowhere near the class my PC can output)

(if i turn vsync off it registers up to 120fps but thats pointless coz my tv is only 60hz i've never seen it drop below 60 tho)
most people i know that game on PC's have rigs that far surpass the ps4.

PC gamers WILL spend that money to get the extra performance and fidelity

most serious pc gamers will. (it's WHY we game on pc and not consoles)

you are wrong tho MOST PC gamers will have a rig that is more powerful than a ps4.
I will give you that your average pc sitting in a families kitchen won't be able to play FC4 as well as a ps4 but a gamers PC will blow the ps4 out of the water in visual quality and performance in practically any game you compare.

This is the the 4th game in the series. I assume the developers knew what you were doing. If not, there's a documentation tab on the same menu you find crafting at. Your also notified on each new weapon. But again, documentation is all on the main inventory menu.. And weapons changing, stop touching the touch pad or change the bindings.

I'm finding this game quite hard.. Seems to have a issue with lack of direction. Like introducing things like crafting and new weapons and sometimes it decides to constantly changing your weapon and things. Quite weird

Being able to upgrade a PC is actually a negative. Ideally gamers don't want to spend money upgrading at all. They just want games that look great and play great without any costly hassle. Ofcourse Far Cry 4 will look superior on PC if you spend a fortune upgrading it to the latest hardware, but not all PC gamers will do that.

Those that do upgrade, will have to face it all again in two years time. Welcome to the master race merry go round and its costly club membership.

Far Cry 4 looks superb and runs great on the PS4. It's true there is no tessellation or water refraction but they are not missed at all because the game just looks pure quality when viewed on a HD TV. The huge world is full of lush detail at 1080p with a vast draw distance and runs smooth as silk whatever you're doing, adding to the immersion and making the action epic fun.

It's another perfect example how good the PS4 hardware really is and how most PC gamers won't get anywhere near that overall visual quality and performance, unless they make costly upgrades to their gaming PC.
