Final Fantasy VII Remake has to be among the most highly anticipated upcoming games by Square Enix, and we have an update on how the game’s development has going. EDAMAME Arcade Channel recently put up an interview with Yoshiniro Kitase, who’se serving as the game’s producer, and as per him, Square Enix is currently hard at work on the game’s development.
In the interview (you can watch it below- it’s in Japanese, but it has subtitles), Kitase also confirmed that Square Enix is also making sure that it pays attention to fan feedback for the game’s development. “After 30 years, it is great to see people who were once players now in the industry making the games,” Kitase said. “As we work on Final Fantasy VII Remake, the staff grew up playing the game.”
“We are currently working hard on the Final Fantasy VII remake,” he continued. “The major difference between the production of the original and the remake is our ability to communicate with the fans. This time we can hear the fans’ voices while we make the game. I feel this is a title we are all working on.”
That’s good to hear. Final Fantasy 7 is, after all, a game that is close to the hears of millions of people, so it’s great to see Square Enix taking fans’ feedback into consideration as they work on the remake.
