HopFrog’s Forager has been surprisingly pleasant success, and the developer has been addressing issues with frequent updates. Those seeking more content shouldn’t fear though. In a recent tweet, a reworked post-launch roadmap was shared, taking various ideas and feedback into account.
In May, there’s the Appreciation Update, which will add new modes and weather effects. Quality of life changes are also promised, along with an improved options menu. We’ll have to wait as we get closer to the update’s release to find out what exactly is in store.
The Combat Update in Summer is a little more straightforward. It offers a new biome, Hard Mode, new bosses and foes, and improved difficulty for combat. Fall 2019 has quite the bevy of features, including custom biomes, custom items, custom structures, and “much more.” Winter 2019 will see the addition of multiplayer with new lands and items added to the mix.
Forager is currently available for PC, but it’s expected for the Nintendo Switch and PS4 as well.
