11bit Studios is looking to continue its signature style of survival and citizen management with Frostpunk, which should be releasing before March end. Unlike This War of Mine, the studio’s previous big release, Frostpunk takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting where resources are limited. Making tough decisions to ensure your people survive while expanding your infrastructure is still pretty important though.
To highlight some of the tougher decisions players will have to make in the end-game, 11bit Studios has released a new developer diary outlining the same. Politics actually plays a pretty big part and players can eventually decide to cater to their people’s every need or act as a dictator.
In terms of pricing, Frostpunk will retail for $29.99 on digital stores for PC. Regional pricing has yet to be revealed and we don’t know if the physical release will retail for as much. With March beginning soon, there should be an actual concrete release date soon so stay tuned.
