PS3 actually uses a custom Nvidia 7800GTX chip.

Wii U uses a custom Radeon E6760. (more than 5x the GPU power of the PS3's GPU)

PS4 will not be using the Radeon 8000 series. It will use a

You do realize the Wii U has a Radeon 6770 in it... for comparisons sake the PS3 only has a Radeon 2000 series. The Wii U is almost double the power..... and that shiny new PS4??? it will only have a 8000 series Radeon in it.... which this "next gen" power will only be 20% more powerful than the Wii U..... MINDBLOWING SPEED. LMAO

Johnny Rider is correct. The Wii U has a Radeon 6770, and BOTH the next Sony and Microsoft machines will have a Radeon 8000 series in it...

The jump from the 6000 series to the 8000 series isn't very large. 20% if that.

I believe Sony and Microsoft won't dare to launch really huge powerhouse machines in cpu and gpu in these 2013 days. Unless it doesn't increase the production costs of a video game along with the retail price for the machine and at the same time is able to increase cpu/gpu/memory power to a "2013 PC gaming dream" then I think it will be viable to launch them.

Nintendo's first party games for the Wii U are 720p, 30fps through choice. Making Mario and Nintendo Land in 1080p, 60fps would be a waste but it could have been done. Hop off the hater bandwagon and you might just start being able to see the difference between facts and your own opinion.

Wrong, Square's preferred console manufacturer is Sony. The only exception to this rule is with their Dragon Quest games being on Nintendo handhelds instead of Sony's, otherwise Sony gets most of Square Enix's love.

You do realize that Sony's developers have optimized their games better for the Cell processor than most other developers could possibly dream of doing? Whatever, you're claiming that yet another instance of milking an already-established franchise from over a decade ago is better than a stunning new IP from one of the most talented studios in the industry. You're a complete imbecile and you should be ashamed of yourself for your stupidity.

Also, $ony? Seriously? Do you realize how idiotic that sounds? You look like a total fool.

I care about power, and I decided to quit PC gaming after four years(the Wii sucked so much I had to find a supplement) because it's so hard these days to game on PC with zero DRM- Steam being the biggest reason for that. Power doesn't just mean prettier games, it means games with better physics and animations, higher resolutions, a more stable framerate and larger, much more complex games. Funny that you'd list Zelda, Mario and Star Fox as reasons to be a Nintendo gamer, Nintendo milks their franchises worse than Activision or EA and come up with waaay less new IPs(their last good one being Pikmin, from 2001).

I'm a Playstation gamer. I enjoy inFamous, Uncharted, Resistance, Killzone, Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Gravity Rush, LocoRoco, Patapon, Wipeout, Hot Shots Golf, Wild Arms, MediEvil, Ape Escape, Syphon Filter, Dark Cloud, Socom, Siren, Shadow of the Colossus, MotorStorm, LittlebigPlanet, Modnation... Nintendo introduces less new IPs than any other major publisher in the industry, Sony produces more great new IPs than anyone else in the industry by miles. Oh, and their hardware doesn't suck and their third-party support is miles and miles above anything Nintendo could ever dream of having.

What's so great about this is that I'm actually very new to Playstation gaming, my first console was the SNES(first game was Zelda: Link to the Past) and I've mostly stuck with Nintendo since then. Their mediocre hardware and franchise-milking is just too much for me(the 3DS and Wii U were the final straw for me), so I've moved to Vita and PS3 gaming and I've never been happier as a gamer. I've been on a Playstation gaming frenzy lately, I'm convinced that Nintendo doesn't have the right to produce hardware anymore due to their incompetence and to the fact that they stand for mediocrity above all else. Stop being so complacent, gamers like you are the reason NIntendo sucks these days. Have higher standards, inform them when they're wrong and let them know what you expect of them- aka better hardware, less franchise milking and more support of third-party developers and games. If Nintendo stopped producing hardware and were just a gaming company they'd reach a much larger audience, their teams wouldn't be held back by corner-cutting and disgustingly terrible hardware and they wouldn't have to worry about their terrible third-party support ever again.

Come on, it's the best thing that could happen to Nintendo. You fanboys need to grow up and look at the facts as they are.
