I’m not sure why the comparison to a vehicles is a bad thing. I think that’s a good move on MS part. Lets use Dodge as an example. If you look at it as a car brand you can say Xbox One S would be the Charger. This gets you were you wanna go with decent performance. You cough up the extra dough you move into the Challenger – more performance in a sleeker package. This would equate to the planned Xbox Scorpio. If you want the high end Viper, then pony up the cash and buy a high end custom gaming PC. MS allows customers to enter into the MS gaming ecosystem at a price point/capability they want. Xbox will make games work for all, depends how much you want to invest. Don’t forget that the Scorpio will only realize it’s full potential on a 4k tv/monitor. As for Cliff, no one cares what you think. Cliff is now in the pocket if Sony with exclusive content deal. He is obviously biased which makes his opinion mute.

The thing is, remember when we complained about our fathers and grandfathers that they were too resistant to change? We are acting like them right now.

We grew up along with consoles and they are the same business that they were back in the 80s and 90s and 2000s and it molded our way to think. The world has changed so much and makes so much sense that the console market needed to evolve too, otherwise the market could face a risk of dying like other segments (hello music business).

if this is the future of consoles the ps3 will be the last console i ever buy. i will just buy a decent pc and keep upgrading it will be a lot cheaper

Yea it makes no sense. Cliff knows damn well when its released it wont be called xbox scorpio. Its an internal code name.

He also ones the xbox one s is the slim and based on what MS said at the conference that message was pretty clear.

Either cliff has lost how god damn mind or he’s acting like an idiot for team Sony.

Forgetting all that …his new game looks bad based on what I saw coming out of e3. I watched a 16 min gameplay demo where the person spent most of their time running to the battle, getting there and floating around slowly and then getting killed while they tried to use that grapple to actually land on something. It was painful and I never expected to say that about a modern game from him.
