Real Boxing was originally released on iOS devices back in November 2012 and it utilized the power of the Unreal Engine 3. The point of the game is quite simple, you start as a novice boxer who tries to work his way up to the world champion rank.
Vivid Games CEO Remi Koscielny has said that “With the exception of the cardiovascular benefits or the threat of actual, physical pain, Real Boxing is exactly that – real boxing.”
The developer has also said that the game features in-depth character customization, slow-motion replays and even commentary as the match is happening live.
Real Boxing will be coming out for PlayStation Vita this August and will utilize the hardware’s touch controls in some way. The game will also include online and local multiplayer modes.
