Santa Monica Studio has released the patch notes for the latest update for God of War Ragnarok. Alongside adding Photo Mode to the game, the update was primarily focused on ironing out bugs, stability and performance improvements, and for the PS4 version of the game, faster loading times for enemies and environments. The Photo Mode is the clear headliner for the update, offering a massive set of features that will be familiar to players who enjoyed the Photo Mode from 2018’s God of War. The Photo Mode also allows players to play around with various effects, including options for field of view, focal length, and camera roll.
The studio has stated that it is far from done with the game, however, and that more updates and patches will continue to be released, likely also bringing with them additional features.
It is worth noting that director Eric Williams has stated that, despite ongoing support for God of War Ragnarok, it will likely not get any DLC releases.
