After teasing five new cars coming to Gran Turismo 7 this week, Polyphony Digital has confirmed that update 1.31 goes live today at 10 PM PST. The new vehicles are the Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM ‘19, Porsche 959 ‘87, Porsche Carrera GTS (904) ‘64, Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge ’18 and the Mazda3 X Burgundy Selection 2019. Nurburgring receives two new layouts – Nurburgring Endurance and Nurburgring Sprint. The former combines the Nordschleife and Grand Prix courses, while the latter provides a fourth-turn shortcut on the Grand Prix circuit for a shorter track. A new Scape, “Cherry Blossoms”, is also coming, set in Minami-Izu in Shizuoka, Japan.
Finally, PS5 players can take advantage of a 120 FPS mode, though a display capable of 120 Hz is required. The leaked patch notes indicated several changes to physics, so stay tuned for more details when the update goes live.
