The 24 Hours Le Mans race is an important global event. So it only makes sense that Polyphony Digital would release a new update for Gran Turismo Sport before the famous race begins on June 16th. Update 1.19 is available later tonight and will feature Circuit de la Sarthe, the same track that Le Mans 2018 is to take place in.
There’s more of course. Nine new vehicles are being added as well. The complete line-up is as follows:
- Fiat 500 F ’68
- Jaguar XJR-9 ’88
- Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype CN.0706 ’67
- Sauber Mercedes C9 ’89
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV GSR ’96
- Nissan R92CP ’92
- Renault Sport Megane Trophy ’11
- Renault Sport Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy ’16
- Subaru BRZ S ’15
Furthermore, new events have been added to the GT League with Group 4 Cup, which promises lots of power and great handling; World Hatchback Championship, exclusively reserved for hatchback vehicles; and the Lamborghini Cup, a high octane race reserved for the exotic brand.
New racing rounds have also been added to the Clio Cup (Beginner League), F1500 Championship (Professional League), GR.1 Protoype Endurance Series (Endurance League) and FR Challenge+ (Amateur League) are also coming. Given Polyphony’s support for the game thus far, expect more updates in the same vein.
