More info has been revealed about Bandai Namco’s upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter Gundam Evolution, this time showcasing one of the playable Gundams in the game.
First shared on the game’s official Twitter in a series of tweets, several videos were posted, which showcased the upcoming Gundam, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.
The videos show the mecha in all its glory, along with its signature long mace, which can be charged to deliver a stun effect on hit. The Boost Jump, allowing to take long leaps, is also shown in action alongside G Maneuver Alaya-Vijnana System, which inflicts three consecutive strikes on the opponent.
The ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos will be joining the roster besides the announced mechas RX-78-2 Gundam, RX-80PR Pale Rider, MS-06 ZAKUⅡ, MSN-04 Sazabi, MSA-005 Methuss, RGM -79SP GM Sniper II, NRX-044 Asshimar, ZGMF-XX09T Dom Trooper, WD-M01 ∀ Gundam, RX-75 Guntank, and RGM-79 GM.
Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play first-person shooter for PC that allows players to choose a mecha from the series and battle it out in 6 vs 6 battles. The game is currently slated to launch in 2022.
