Those who have been looking forward to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection maybe in for a little surprise. It seems that the developers have made some changes to the 12 playlists that was announced last month.
Additionally in an update to Halo: Waypoint the developers have also made a decision to scrap the dedicated Halo: Combat Evolved playlist until they are absolutely sure that they can make sure the Halo: CE multiplayer experience is “the best it can be within Halo: The Master Chief Collection” . But not everything will be undergoing changes as the developers will make sure that the Halo: CE content will still be accessible in custom matches and some other playlists.
There are a few changes that the developers have made and that includes the Team Hardcore playlist which will have the Halo 2 Classic tournament-approved game types, with Halo 3 custom map variants that will be included later.
Also the developers took it upon themselves to rename the Halo e-Sports playlist as the Halo Championship Series playlist. And if that were not enough, Team Halo 2: Anniversary Social playlist seems to have been scrapped which gives the fans a total of ten playlists at launch.
