Natsume’s Harvest Moon will be returning with Harvest Moon: Light of Hope announced. It will be heading to the PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Interestingly, it will be the first Harvest Moon to ever hit PC after Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories failed to release for the platform.
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope sees the player seeking a fresh start in a new environment but instead lands up in a harbor town following a devastating storm. From there, you’ll need to rebuild the town, grow crops, gather materials, tend to the lighthouse and more. Naturally, along with saving the town, you’ll make friends, marry a nice girl and eventually settle down.
With the franchise celebrating its 20th anniversary, Natsume and Rising Star Games have promised an SNES-style game that will “set itself apart from other Harvest Moon titles with its depth, including a robust story and clear-cut goals.”
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be showcased at E3 2017. A release date hasn’t been announced yet.
