but I’m not trying to hate though. it’s just, this game has already received a lot of flack for the TRUTHS about it, it doesent need more flack for misconceptions and flat out lies.. it’s actually a very good Hitman game and what fans have been waiting for, for a decade. its gone back to the roots and that’s a good thing, it shouldn’t be compared to telltale games, or to games like COD and whatever it is conformist gamers are playing these days, it should be compared to it’s own predecessors if anything. compared to blood money, it isn’t perfect but is at least a 9/10 and as a game on it’s own, I agree with the 8 ranking, but at least give the right reasons….

Actually there is a story… I’m guessing whoever reviewed this game isn’t familiar with the canon of the hitman story. The cutscenes in this game have actually done a good job of answering questions left open by the first 5 games, especially the first (
hitman codename 47) and the likes of silent asassing, blood money, contracts, totally ignoring absolution which is exactly what hardcore fans like myself have wanted. and there’s only been what, 3 cutscenes so far? and we’re going to get even more, at least 2 or 3 per episode, I would agree that the focus is killing over story, but I disagree with you saying “there is no real story” there is. you just don’t realize what youre dealing with. see the game starts off with agent 47 getting initiated into the agency. Soders and Diana are attempting to track down 47’s past but the lead he gave them is a dead end, because it was a cloning laboratory that 47 himself massacred and wiped clean in the very first game (codename 47). He is purposely holding back this info from them, thereby adding more to the canon. It has only been assumed up to this point that the agency knows 47 is a clone, but apparently they don’t, so if you’ve played other games where clones or “brothers” are sent after 47, you then realize the agency had no idea this was happening, this was some kind of personal vendetta against 47, but by whom? maybe this new shady character, M16, perhaps? So yes there is a story and it is adding canon to the official Hitman timeline, don’t spread false info please, I thought this was gamingbolt!! and also the controls are actually pretty easy, its no different than tomb raider or older hitman games for that matter, its about the same as any first person shooter, come on, get with it, I’m already getting 5/5 rankings on this game with my STEAM controller, and you can’t do it with a PS4 controller? get a new reviewer. gamebolt!
