Ehh, nope. The amount of pixels a GPU can push per second has a 1 to 1 relation with the amount of floating point operations it can perform.

Don’t forget tho that checkerboard rendering takes about 55 to 65% of the same native resolution due to bookkeeping and post-processing, so you don’t actually need double the power to go from checkerboard to native.

It’s actually able to display 2x times the amount of pixels. It’s not all just tf. You have to look at its memory bandwidth and things of that sort.
So far on multilat games it’s been able to out put twice the amount of pixels.
