In order for you to achieve what the X1 can do with your SmartTV and A/V setup, you need a smartTV and a A/V setup – the X1 is all inclusive. it’s essentially plug n play. Not everyone games on a TV, and not everyone has an A/V receiver. I do all my gaming on my monitor, and even if I played on my SmartTV (yes, I have one) I don’t have an A/V receiver. Are you seeing the problem with your claim yet? It’s a situational scenario.

The Xbone is in no way an improvement or even competitive with what I can accomplish with my smartTV and A/v setup. Sorry if you don't realize that, but those are the facts.
