Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Has Gone Gold

Ubisoft's turn-based tactics title is set to launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in less than a month, on October 20.

Given how good Mario + Rabbid Kingdom Battle turned out to be, it’s no surprise that there’s no shortage of anticipation surrounding the launch of its sequel, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. And as we approach its launch less than a month from now, its development has hit a major milestone.

Ubisoft recently took to Twitter and announced that Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has gone gold. That means principal development is complete and the game is ready to be sent out to be pressed on discs. Any work that the developers at Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Paris do on the game now in terms of ironing out bugs and glitches will be applied to the game in the form of day one or post-launch patches.

Ubisoft also confirms that impressions on the game will be available tomorrow thanks to a new round of previews from press outlets, so keep an eye open for that as well.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on October 20. Of course, Ubisoft is also at work on post-launch content for the game, which will include three DLCs, with the third expansion adding Rayman to the game.
