Though the week before that featured some new entries, this week’s Japanese software sales remained relatively the same as far as the top 10 goes. According to Media Create, Kirby Triple Deluxe remained on top for the period between January 13th to 19th in Japan, selling 81,069 units in the process (while notching up 295,276 units over its lifetime).
Puzzle & Dragons Z remained in second place with more than 1.2 million lifetime sales, selling 48,788 units in the past week. Pokemon X/Y managed to sell 23,600 units and is roughly 107,000 units away from reaching 4 million units sold in Japan. Youkai Watch is at number 4 with 19,039 units sold (lifetime sales of 327,985 units) while Zelda: A Link Between Worlds sold 17,897 units for lifetime sales of 341,398 units.
Both Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster versions failed to generate big business, with 14,026 units and 12,805 units sold for the PS3 and PS Vita platforms respectively. Super Mario 3D World is still hanging on in the top 10 with 10,500 units sold and 463,020 lifetime sales.
