Microsoft India’s Xbox Live Gold Rush Program has finally kicked off the release of the Games With Gold service in India. If you head to a participating retailer and pick up a 12 month Gold subscription, you’ll be able to score 36 free games over the year and redeem 9 Xbox Arcade Games for free.
Director of Interactive Entertainment Business for Microsoft India Anshu Mor stated that, “We wanted to create a real sense of community for our fans and allow them to enjoy great benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold. Gold Rush captures the energy and passion of the world’s largest social network in the comforts of your living room.
“The value we have created for consumers with this offer is unprecedented in India and we are excited to see more fans join the Xbox Live experience. As long as you’re a Gold member, you’re already in the running for the draw.”
The “Gold Rush” part comes from the free goods worth Rs. 3 lakhs, which includes a 100 g Gold Bar, Titanfall Collector’s Edition (Xbox 360), an Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series Controller (Gold), and a 12-month Gold subscription. Eight Gold members will also be picked at random to receive a 12 month subscription and Rs. 2500 worth of credits.
