Nintendo has recently announced that Capcom’s Monster Hunter 4 and Ace Attorney 5 will be showcased on May 31st at Nintendo Direct. Both titles will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS handheld.
Monster Hunter 4 marks the series’ second outing on the handheld, and emphasizes environmental traversing as much as the signature combat. You’ll be able to climb up walls and environments are even larger than previous games. The game will feature a large collection of NPCs, along with a travelling base camp. Underwater battling is gone, but now monsters will make use of their environment to get the upper hand.
Ace Attorney 5 meanwhile marks the seventh game in the series, and will see Phoenix Wright return after to practicing law after the events of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Along with 3D graphics and a new 3D camera for exploring environments, the new Mood Matrix system allows players to judge the various moods of the witness they’re questioning and use it to gain new insight.
While Monster Hunter 4 releases this Summer in Japan, its release date is to be announced in North America. Ace Attorney 5 releases in Japan on June 25th and in North America/Europe in Fall.
