Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Boxart And Multiplayer Details Revealed

In real life, there are monster hunters.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the expanded version of the fourth numbered entry in Capcom’s genre defining, country ruling action game sensation franchise. While Monster Hunter 4 got a release in Japan last year, it was never localized for western territories. Now, however, the expanded release, 4 Ultimate, is going to be released in the west in 2015, and Capcom has shared with us the boxarts, and a few details about the game’s multiplayer.

You can see the boxart above. Personally, I don’t think it’s anything special, and it’s a clear step down in quality from the Japanese boxart in any case, but at the very least, it’s not offensive; as for the multiplayer, the game, which supports online co-op multiplayer, will not be region locked, meaning that players from both European and North American territories can go questing together.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS next year. Stay tuned for more coverage.
