Capcom’s highly successful Monster Hunter XX, an expansion of Monster Hunter Generations, will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. Titled Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, it will release on August 28th physically and digitally.
Though Monster Hunter XX came to Switch in Japan last year, Capcom denied ever bringing the game to the West. Clearly localisation work has been going on though. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate offers the highest number of monsters in the series along with the usual assortment of weapons and gear to craft. In this iteration, players will contend with the Fated Four along with a new Elder Dragon.
That’s not all though. G-Rank, a higher tier of hunting quests, will also be available for more challenging encounters. Furthermore, players can utilize Hunter Arts in combat for unique moves and Hunter Styles for with two new Styles – Brave and Alchemy – for even more diversity.
Of course for Monster Hunter World fans, there will likely be even more news at E3 2018. What are your thoughts on Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate coming to Switch in the West? Let us know below.
