Man, I believe you didn’t read much of what I said, but doesn’t matter because in the end you agree with what i put. And Sony 1st parties catter to me, because I mainly play single players and sometimes local MP and I don’t like shooter. I really hope X1 do well enough for people who like what they offer and we don’t end losing space for different games on PS4 because the publisher decided to have more shooters and MP in it. I was just correcting you in your informations, because as you said most developers said PS4 was more powerful (and that will probably will take some time to show, and perhaps if cloud really do what MS promisses then it will probably will keep on par or be a little better when online). And about the cloud Shuhei said they could use not as a save or streaming, because that is already done in PS3 for the first feature and should be done for a multitude of plats with gaikai; he was talking about streaming computing (which I don’t think will do much difference right now, It isn’t like bandwith of internet is that fast to really improve the games).

I’m not disputing that on paper, the PS4 is the more powerful, what I am saying is that these devs (that I say should know better than you) say that the power on paper doesn’t mean one console will provide a better experience. And they also say as you have said X1 will improve through the cloud. Yes PS4 is cloud capable. As it stands, it isn’t cloud computing capable and will therefore have no effect on gameplay. It will be used as the Xbox 360 cloud access is used now for saves and profiles and the additional, streaming.

It is so much more than just “about games” not only gamers buy consoles.
“PS4 will do better than X1” As musch as that may be true, it is irrelevant. I don’t care which box sells more. As I said, not a fanboy. I’m reitterating the points that devs have made.
The only thing that matters is where you get your best experience from. For most single platform gamers, it might be Sony again. For multi-plat online gamers, probably Xbox. The one thing that I’m not saying probably about, or maybe though, is there won’t be much difference between performance because of hardware specs.

Totally agree the 360 had better dev tools and a simpler (if not as simple as x86) architecture. This time around, it may well be the case that they have better dev tools, but their memory architecture is more, not less, complicated than that on PS4.

As for Rubin, he hasn’t worked for Naughty Dog since 2004, so yes, Naughty Dog won’t be developing for the XB1, PC, Mac, Linux or anything else anytime soon, but that’s got nothing to do with Rubin. He may well be looking for a job after all of the THQ brankruptcy stuff is wrapped up, and being tactful here means he may be able to get a role at Microsoft. Given MS’ poor messaging so far, and Rubin’s quality and history in the game industry, it could be a good option for both of them.
