Naughty Dog Currently Working on “Two Brand New Experiences”

The studio has other things going on besides The Last of Us: Remastered and Uncharted on PS4.

Naughty Dog certainly knows how to keep itself busy. After releasing the Left Behind and Grounded DLC for The Last of Us on PlayStation 3, the studio revealed that it would be bringing the third person action survival title to the PS4 with The Last of Us: Remastered. Then of course, there’s Uncharted which will likely be showcased at E3 2014.

Speaking to EDGE though, creative director Neil Druckmann confirmed that the studio was working on two new titles as well. “We’re working on this re-release, but at the same time we’re working on two other brand-new experiences.”

The term “brand-new” implies new IPs but we don’t put it past Naughty Dog to create a sequel to The Last of Us and make it completely different from the first game, effectively creating a new IP in the process. Nonetheless, there’s plenty to look forward to. Stay tuned for more information as E3 2014 and Sony’s media briefing draw near.
