Knack has been the one PlayStation 4 exclusive launch title I have been a bit iffy about. It looks fun and everything, but it just looks so… underwhelming. Bland. Almost mediocre.
This new trailer kind of does nothing to change my mind on the game- it looks like it could be fun (especially in co-op), but that’s as far as the good things that I have to say about it go. In other parts, it just looks like a weaker copy of, variously, Mario, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, and even one scene that looks right out of The Wonderful 101.
I mean, I guess I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, because it is by Mark Cerny, and that man knows his video games, but early impressions, at least as far as I am conernced, aren’t too encouraging.
