You’re wrong in thinking a game without being enhanced (optimized) for X1-X don’t run better than the base Xbox One or S because they do. Not just in loading faster either. Games benefit from extra GPU & cpu power that still dwarfs the OG X1 at 1.31 and 1.4 TF vs 3TF for a non enhanced X1-X game. Digital foundry has shown time and time again how any game without a patch always runs at native resolution with max fps instead of dips that could occur on base hardware. This site runs many articles negate the power of the X1-X too. One article spoke how a game couldn’t run at native 4k nor 60fps on X1-X and PS4 fanboys went in on a frenzy. Console wars equal article clicks which equals revenue. You can’t expect a site like this or even kotaku to be concise but they are unbiased it is just certain articles are there to incite clicks and comments. You and I have commented thus they achieved what they set out to do. Visit digital foundry and avoid this site revenue goes down.
