Nintendo Switch Sold Out At Best Buy Again After Preorders Reopened

Nintendo's upcoming console is in demand.

The Nintendo Switch has been seeing its fair share of demand. After US retailer Best Buy had restocked the console and re-opened pre-orders for the same, supplies were once again sold out.

A representative from the retailer informed GameSpot that the Switch was available for pre-ordering. However, within a short period of time, stock for the gray, neon red and neon blue versions of the console were already gone. It’s a similar story for GameStop and Amazon as well and Best Buy hasn’t revealed when more units will become available again.

The popularity of the Switch isn’t strange despite the weak line-up (which Nintendo president Tatsumi Kirishima addressed in an earnings call). It will be interesting to see the long-term success of the platform especially since it’s out on March 3rd.

What are your thoughts on the Switch and its games? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on when it’s available to pre-order again.
