Nioh 2 Gets New Footage From Both Single Player And Multiplayer

A look at the brutally hard title from a Japanese event.

The worlds of historical and mythical Japan will once again collide next month when Nioh 2 hits shelves. The game promises a refinement from the surprise success of the original, as you slice through demons in war-torn Japan. Today we got a look at its single player gameplay, as well as the multiplayer, in some new footage.

Publisher Koei Tecmo hosted a special live event in Japan with new gameplay from the game getting shown off. It started off with single player, but things get a little too hairy, so it switched to the new three person multiplayer mode. It all culminates in a boss fight that takes the party to their limit. The video is in Japanese, but you can still follow the gameplay easily enough. Check it out below.

Nioh 2 releases on the PlayStation 4 March 13th. The game will get trial starting on February 28th for you to try out the action RPG one more time before release. For some things you’ll want to know about the game before it does come out, check out some interesting facts through here.
