Nioh 2 Shows Off Icy Boss Battle And Changes From Beta In New Gameplay Footage

Get a look at some tweaks from the open beta.

Nioh 2 is one of the many Japanese RPGs that’s scheduled to eat up all of your time when it hits in March of next year. The game combines Japanese historical figures with mystical swords, magic and tons of demons. The game had an open beta not too long ago, and now we got to see a few minor adjustments from that beta, as well as some chilly new gameplay footage to boot.

In new gameplay footage from Dengeki Online, which you can see below, we see a lengthy gameplay demo of the game. We’ve known that developer Team Ninja was taking feedback from the beta and they show off some improvements menus and interfaces that was slightly tweaked due to said feedback. It also comes with the Battle of Anegawa stage, one that’s been frozen over due to the boss Mataka Naotora, a former warrior who has now become an ice Yo-kai.

Nioh 2 will release exclusively for PlayStation 4 sometime in March 2020.
