The long-awaited third entry in the No More Heroes series is slated to come out next year. As of now the game is announced only for the Nintendo Switch. But the door is open to other platforms, as the spinoff, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, that bridges the gap between the second and third is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PC soon. It’s also possible we’ll be seeing the previous games in the franchise there soon.
In an interview with Dengeki Online, Suda 51 said he and Grasshopper were talking with the publisher Marvelous Entertainment now to bring the first two games, No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, to the PlayStation 4. The games were originally released for the Wii, with the first game getting remaster on PS3. He only mentions Sony’s console in the interview, but presumably something like that would be on multiple platforms (thanks to Game Revolution for translations).
The PS4 and PC versions of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will release this October in Japan (as of now there’s no western release date), with No More Heroes 3 slated to come to the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
