The NPD’s report for November 2014 is out and along with revealing the Xbox One as the top-selling console in the United States for the month, we also got a look at the top selling titles.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare topped the charts across all platforms with the Xbox 360 selling the most copies. It’s not that hard to guess why, given the large install base on the platform. Grand Theft Auto 5 for the Xbox One and PS4 meanwhile entered into second place and the PS4 version managed to sell the most copies.
Again, for lack of surprise, Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U and 3DS came in third place. The fighting game has been one of the best releases of the year and marked a strong comeback for Nintendo in Japan as well as in the United States. Both Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby also entered the charts with the former at fifth and the latter at seventh place.
In terms of other new releases, Far Cry 4 came in sixth place, Assassin’s Creed: Unity entered at ninth and Halo: The Master Chief Collection ranked tenth place overall.
