Young Horses has revealed that Octodad: Dadliest Catch will now be releasing in “early April” for the PlayStation 4. The game was originally to release in March and no reason has been given for why it’s been delayed.
Even more interestingly, the developer has revealed its stance on whether they will be bringing the game to the Xbox One. “Our word on the Xbox One version is, ‘We’re thinking about it.'” We’ll be seeing the first wave of ID@Xbox titles from March onwards, with games like Worms Battlegrounds and Nutjitsu confirmed. We at least know Dadliest Catch currently isn’t planned for the Wii U.
As for Octodad: Dadliest Catch, it’s already available for PC and Mac OS X with average critical praise accrued overall. It’s not as if PS4 users will be starving for games though with inFamous: Second Son arriving on March 25th and Dead Nation rumoured to be arriving for free through PlayStation Plus.
