Pcs are far more powerfull than the consoles, so the lead version will be the pc version. Whever it will play like a game or a interactive movie is another thing, i hope this next gen brings complexity, not MORE simplification.

What lots of people forget is MS came out a year earlier than the Ps3 they had a year of exclusives most dont count no more like PDZ Kameo, Dead Rising DOA4 just to name a few. Another thing personally like to factor in is the timed exclusivity, of major brands. Like MassEffect 1&2 and Bioshock they may have ended up multiplat but they did the job of an exclusive… but if you dont want to count them that fine….. But another area you guys mis is Kinect. Yes…. kinect counts and despite what people tale you it sold enough software to just viable as any other games you can name. You have to count kinect ADV. as software though it was bundled with the sensor itself most of the time so that 24+ million right there….. Really I dont want to name all these games.

another thing that is really exciting about this upcoming console generation is that both consoles operate using the x86 instruction set, just like a PC. no more crappy ports (hopefully)

Also xbox one is faster when it comes to cpu calculations due to ddr3.

1. You are in a PS4 discussion group of course there is going to be people like me and some others who arent going to agree with you just because you post some chart saying that PC has 2 billion games…but only 10 of them are really that good anyway? I sell hardware as a job im a consultant and from selling that hardware CPU GPU’s for a living often we get free games and all sorts of giveaways from the manufacturers and i have yet to finish one game on PC that i have stuck with to till the end because they are repetative and boring…im not going to get into 20 plus games and tell you why because this is going to be a thesis before im done…:-)

What im trying to explain to you is that PS4 has benefits that your PC simply cannot have, its not an attack on your PC community…its just logical that if you actually sat down and had a read and understood the OVERALL system architecture…you would too understand and see a clearer picture…But what frustrates me is that although you call me a fanboy and im biased towards what i believe…well your doing the exact same thing coming in here and running your mouth over BS

3. Time for you to understand –

– There is not an 8 core APU for purchase on the market today for PC (Also PS4 has a secondry chip for background processing)

-A APU is MILES ahead of your beloved pci express 2.0 Unless of course you have upgraded in the last 7 months to a brand new PC w/ PCI express 3.0 that means new CPU GPU and mobo otherwise you run the risk of a bottleneck Even still PCI 3.0 can’t compete with the bus speeds within an APU!! FACT!~

– There is no memory available to purchase that provides the same speed as the PS4! FACT!

– PS4′s UNIFIED (yes) UNIFIED! 8 GB of GDDR5 is clocked at 176 GB/s for system and video (DDR3 1333mhz is roughly 10.7 GB/s i believe) FACT

– Remember PS4 is MADE for gaming!! Not for general purposes so even if it only has a limit of 5-6GB for gaming it will be more than enough so see the console that only cost $399- remmeber the word “SONY” in japenese means “GENIUS”

– Last but not least they have built the system so it doesnt have bottlenecks- Its whats going to make the system future proof because you cannot upgrade the GPU like you can in a PC- these are the advantages of the PS4…Beacause people like you and me cannot just get the parts to build it!! ITS UNIQUE!

What is for real? THe list? Pc always have more exlusives. Funny how at one hand console games bash pc exlusives but when they are on consoles they like them.

Pc gaming is in the best state now that it ever was. it has the most users and the most games. It doesnt have AAA games becuase the cost of AAA games nowdays means that it has to be a game that everyone will buy and it needs multiplatform support to pay for its development costs. No one wants to make exlusives. Ms and sony pay developers to make those games, so its win-win situation, pc is not owned by anyone, so no one pays developers for exlusivity. For that reason its also a free platform, on consoles you gotta buy a licence, you need a devkit and gotta give money from each copy sold to the console owner.
