Greenwood Games’ upcoming psychological horror game Alone will be supporting Oculus Rift, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality that much more and scaring even hardened horror game veterans.
Alone is a pretty meta game, which puts players alone in a house as they play a horror game; slowly, things start happening in the house, stranger and stranger noises, as the game that you are playing on your TV seems to leak over into the living room. The game is currently just a concept project hosted on Kickstarter, and is open to crowdfunding. A ten minute demo is, however, available to play on the developer’s website (although it requires use of an Xbox controller and Oculus Rift).
Alone is planned for a release on PN in the first quarter of 2014; stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the title, and let us know in the comments what you think of the game.
