Persona 5 Royal Live Event Set For August 30

The event will include a concert and live gameplay.

Persona 5 Royal is going to be a big event in its homeland of Japan. The game will release there first, of course, and the vanilla version of the game helped launch the series to new heights. If you have any doubt about it, well, there’s an entire event surrounding it that will be streaming live with footage of the game.

The event, as announced by Atlus, is called “Persona 5 Royal Completion Announcement Premiere” and will go live right before the release of the newest anime, Proof of Justice, which is the first time the OAV has premiered on television. It will feature a live concert from singer Lyn as well as new information about the game, including some live gameplay though it’s unclear if anything new will be shown or announced.

Persona 5 Royal comes out October 31st in Japan with a 2020 Spring release scheduled for the west. The event will be a live production that will run 8-9:20 PM JST.
