Persona 5 Scramble Japanese Demo Comes February 6th

You'll get to try out the spinoff before it releases.

The Persona series is known for its many, many spinoffs that flooded the market pretty much as soon as the series gained some traction. The latest entry in the franchise, Persona 5, is the biggest one yet by a pretty large margin, so naturally that means it’s going to have a lot of spinoffs. It’s had plenty as it is, and next one, Persona 5 Scramble, will be getting a demo very soon.

As announced at Japan EVO alongside the first footage of the Switch version (which you can check out through here), Persona 5 Scramble will get a demo in Japan next month shortly before the full release. The game is a mix between the Persona gameplay everyone knows and loves and Omega Force and Koei-Tecmo’s musou action series. It looks to be quite the unique blend, so a demo will give a good idea of what to expect.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will release February 20th in Japan on PlayStation 4 and Switch, with the demo going live on the 6th within the same region. As of now, there’s no word on a worldwide release. If you need a little refresher on the game’s original cast, you can check out a video that reintroduces the Phantom Thieves for the upcoming western PS4 release of Persona 5 Royal.
