Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Will Receive Western Release

Koei Tecmo's recent financials confirm the same, though no specific date was listed.

Atlus’s Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is one step closer to releasing in the Western. After they mentioned planning Western release back in April following the game’s success, Koei Tecmo confirmed the same in their recent financial report. The report notes a release for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe, though they didn’t list a release date.

Released earlier this year in Japan, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is developed by Omega Force, better known for the Dynasty Warriors series. Set six months after Persona 5, it sees the Phantom Thieves whisked away to a strange version of Tokyo and battling all kinds of fiends. Eventually, an AI named Sophia helps them out and the group reunites to tackle this new threat.

As more of a Musou-style title with real-time combat, Persona 5 Scramble still includes the ability to fuse Personas and form a party with four characters. Players will partake in side quests called Requests and use the B.A.N.D. system which provides a variety of bonuses. Stay tuned for more details on the game’s Western release in the coming months.
