Phil Spencer To Talk About DirectX 12 And Windows 10 At E3

Spencer is just one of the bigwigs to speak at the PC Gaming Show.

Now that we know when Microsoft’s Windows 10 is going to be releasing gamers are wanting to know what sort of implications the operating system is going to bring when it comes to the Xbox One. We know that the OS is expected to work alongside the PC and the Xbox one, but details about everything Windows 10 is going to do when it comes to the pairing isn’t yet known. It appears Microsoft is going to shed some light on this issue at E3 with none other than Phil Spencer giving a presentation on stage.

Spencer will be giving his presentation at the first ever PC Gaming Show at E3 and his appearance has been confirmed by PC Gamer. That organization, not coincidently is hosting the event. Talking about why he wants to give the presentation that will talk about Windows 10, Spencer said, “For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 – the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs. With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”

Microsoft isn’t going to be the only titan attending this event. AMD, Blizzard, Bohemia Interactive, CCP, Dean Hall, Fullbright, Obsidian Entertainment, Paradox and Square Enix are all slated to appear alongside other companies not officially named yet. The PC Gaming Show is slated for June 16 Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. For those who can’t attend in person, they’ll be able to watch Phil Spencer give his talk streamed over Twitch.
